Description: All City Limit boundaries in Caldwell County are represented in this data. We contiually modify and udate the boundary to follow any annex or de-annex of area for each city.Caldwell County, Texas is located in the South Central Zone of the Texas State Plane Coordinate System and is in the overlap zone with the Central Zone. All data received from CAPCO and various State Agencies are projected on the Central Zone NAD83. WE HAVE NOW PROJECTED ALL MAPS TO THE CENTRAL ZONE NAD83. The original maps created by this Appraisal District were hand drafted, based US Geological Survey maps with the South Central Zone projection NAD27, ACS 1989 aerial photography, and other available sources. There were 119 maps sheets at a scale of 1in=660ft with 11 detail maps of the rural communities, 13 detail maps of the City of Lockhart, and 10 details maps of the City of Luling, all at a scale of 1in=200ft. These maps were digitized using ESRI ArcInfo coverage files, starting in 1994 and completed in 1998. Much additional data and many special map coverages were added to the coverages during this process. Individual map coverage files were edge matched and combined to provide 4 major coverage files; East and West of Highway 183, and the cities of Lockhart and Luling. The Thoroughfare Plan identifies transportation corridors to be implemented as development occurs. The TMP recommends San Marcos roadways should be designed and enhanced with Complete Streets policies in mind as the community develops and grows. The Transportation Master Plan recommends new cross-sections (shown in the Appendix) based on these polices. They have been applied to the future Thoroughfare Plan based on several criteria, including type of facility, traffic volumes and speeds. The new cross-sections provide recommended treatments for both new streets as well as for the retrofit of existing ones. Description: This dataset represents habitat fee zones associated with the endangered golden-cheeked warbler in Western Travis County. This data was created prior to September 1996 using both known warbler observations and habitat characteristics associated with warblers. This data does not represent actual known locations of golden-cheeked warblers currently found within the BCCP permit area; it represents habitat that warblers are likely to occupy given habitat characteristics and historical accounts of the warbler. The intent of the data was to provide a streamlined method by which private land owners and developers within the BCCP Permit area could mitigate for golden-cheeked warbler habitat and be in compliance with the Endangered Species Act. Travis County Natural Resources uses this data to determine mitigation fees for BCCP Public Participation applications. This data has remained unchanged since 1996 when the BCCP 10 (a) (1) (B) "incidental take" permit was issued (PRT 788841).Last updated on 2/10/2021. Description: This data set represents the extent, approximate location and type of wetlands and deepwater habitats in the conterminous United States. These data delineate the areal extent of wetlands and surface waters as defined by Cowardin et al. (1979). Certain wetland habitats are excluded from the National mapping program because of the limitations of aerial imagery as the primary data source used to detect wetlands. These habitats include seagrasses or submerged aquatic vegetation that are found in the intertidal and subtidal zones of estuaries and near shore coastal waters. Some deepwater reef communities (coral or tuberficid worm reefs) have also been excluded from the inventory. These habitats, because of their depth, go undetected by aerial imagery. By policy, the Service also excludes certain types of "farmed wetlands" as may be defined by the Food Security Act or that do not coincide with the Cowardin et al. definition. Contact the Service's Regional Wetland Coordinator for additional information on what types of farmed wetlands are included on wetland maps.

Description: TxDOT's 25 Districts are geographic subdivisions of the state, each responsible for planning, contruction, and maintenance of on-system roadways within its administrative boundary. Each district is a conglomeration of several Texas counties. Area Engineer and Maintenance Section Offices are subdivisions of a district. This version utilizes a generalized boundary along the coast, which is sometimes necessary for analysis in which it is important to encompass segments of roadways that travel over water. Roadways on bridges or causeways that span intracoastal waterways are not covered by detailed polygons that precisely follow the coastline, therefore a generalized boundary is needed for some types of analysis where it is important to preserve such relationships.Date valid as of: December 2017Publish Date: November 2018Update Frequency: Static.
